Social Accountability within Public
Administration
More than 500 hundreds people took part in
a meeting about Social Accountability within
Public Administration, performed in Rome some
days ago. Social Acountability, meant as a process
integrating into organizing procedures and into
planning, communication and check processes,
may be a great changement opportunity for Public
Administration Bodies, because it means:
- a new accountability view;
- a new planning supplier;
- a new powerful incentive for communication;
During the meeting a new approach to social
accountability, founded on three essential aims
has been proposed:
- protecting the connection between public administration
functioning and Institutional output;
- Considering Organizations' trend and modernization
opportunities, coming from Social Accountability's
adoption;
- Integrating and strengthening E-Governance
system within public and private bodies.
